What's your Purple Cow?

Marketing guru Seth Godin says to stand out in a crowded marketplace today, your product and service needs to be remarkable, unusual, attention-grabbing, and even a little bit crazy (ok, he didn't say crazy, but you get it!). A purple cow in an ordinary field of brown cows creates interest. You'll pull over when you see one in the countryside and take photos, tell your friends. It's something you won't forget. In some marketplaces, 99% of companies are just brown cows in their marketing and quite forgettable. A purple cow is a departure from the norm, something remarkable and worth talking about.

It is a call to action for businesses to be bold, creative, and unforgettable in their approach to product development and marketing.
